Dorval, Pierrefonds-Roxboro & L’Île-Bizard
Five more West Island communities.
From Dorval’s postwar bungalows to waterfront lots in Senneville and on L’Île-Bizard, each of these towns has its own kind of property. Here’s what we see most in each one.
Dorval
Lakeshore homes, compact yards.
Dorval sits on Lac Saint-Louis at the eastern edge of the West Island, with lakeshore homes, postwar bungalows and tidy, compact lots.
In a smaller yard, every square foot counts. A well-planned patio, clean turf and a few lights can make a compact backyard feel twice the size, and you’ll see it all in 3D first.
Common projects- Compact backyard patios
- Walkways and side alleys
- Turf for small yards
Pierrefonds-Roxboro
Along the Rivière des Prairies.
Pierrefonds-Roxboro runs along the Rivière des Prairies on the north shore of the West Island, with a mix of older homes near the water and newer neighbourhoods inland.
On lower, wetter lots, drainage matters even more. Our open-graded base lets water drain through instead of sitting under your pavers, and we look at grading so water moves away from the house.
Common projects- Driveways on a drained base
- Patios and turf for family backyards
- Retaining walls for grade changes
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
Where the river meets the lake.
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue sits at the western tip of the island, where the Ottawa River meets Lac Saint-Louis, with a historic village main street and homes from many different eras.
Whether your home is a century old or brand new, we choose Techo-Bloc pavers and walls that suit its style, and show you the result in 3D before we start.
Common projects- Walkways and steps for older homes
- Patios with lighting
- Retaining walls and steps
Senneville
Country estates at the tip of the island.
Senneville sits at the western tip of Montréal island on the Lac des Deux Montagnes, a small village known for its large wooded properties and historic country estates.
Projects here are about scale and setting: long driveways, generous patios, and walls and lighting that fit naturally into mature landscapes.
Common projects- Long paver driveways
- Patios and terraces on large lots
- Path and landscape lighting
L’Île-Bizard
Island living, room to build.
L’Île-Bizard has a quieter, more rural feel than the rest of the West Island, with golf courses, nature parks and homes on roomy lots surrounded by water.
That space makes it a great place for complete outdoor projects: long driveways, generous patios and backyards designed as one.
Common projects- Long paver driveways
- Large patios and outdoor living areas
