Materials we trust

Paver installation
Driveways, walkways, side alleys, patios and steps in modern Techo-Bloc pavers. Every installation is built to take car weight, plows, salt and constant freeze-thaw without heaving, sinking or shifting.
- Driveways, walkways, side alleys, patios and steps
- Excavated 12–18 in and rebuilt on a drained clear-stone base
- Alliance Gator resin-based permeable joint sand and edging
- Layouts, colours and borders designed in 3D with you

Retaining walls
Level out a sloped yard, create raised beds or define a terrace with Techo-Bloc wall systems. Walls sit on the same excavated, well-drained foundation as our paving, so they stay straight.
- Terraces and grade changes
- Raised planters, seat walls and built-in steps
- Drained foundation to resist frost movement

Outdoor lighting
LED lighting built into your paver project: step lights, wall-cap lights and path lights that make stairs and walkways safer after dark and show off the work at night.
- Step lights built into stairs and landings
- Wall-cap and path lights along retaining walls and walkways
- Wiring planned and installed with your pavers and walls

Turf installation
A clean, level lawn that finishes your project, installed on a properly graded and compacted base so it drains well and stays even.
- Graded and compacted base with Alliance Gator products
- Clean edges against pavers, walls and beds
- Backyards, side yards and play areas

Flower beds
Raised flower beds built with the same blocks as your retaining walls, filled with quality soil and planted with perennials and shrubs that handle Montréal winters.
- Raised beds built with Techo-Bloc walls
- Quality soil, planting and mulch
- Hardy plants suited to our climate
FAQ
Planning your project.
Timelines, pricing and how we build.
How long does a paver project take?
Most projects take 2 to 7 days on site. Larger projects, like a full backyard with pavers, walls, lighting and turf, can take 2 to 4 weeks. We give you a schedule for your project at the design consultation.
How much does a paver driveway or patio cost?
It depends on the size of the area, how deep we need to excavate, site access, the pavers you choose and whether you add walls, steps or lighting. Because every project is different, we don’t publish price ranges. We give you a final price at the second consultation visit, together with your 3D renders, before any work starts.
Why do you excavate 12 to 18 inches deep?
Most paver failures in Montréal start underneath. We dig down to stable ground and rebuild with geotextile fabric, 8 to 14 inches of compacted 3/4 in clear stone and a 1 in bed of 1/8 in clear stone. Water drains straight through instead of freezing under your pavers, so they stay flat through the freeze-thaw cycle.
Do retaining walls need a drained foundation?
Yes. Water that freezes under or behind a wall pushes it out of line. Our walls sit on the same excavated, well-drained foundation as our paving, so they stay straight.
When should I plan outdoor lighting?
Ideally during the design, before the pavers and walls go in. We plan the wiring and install it with the hardscape, so step, wall-cap and path lights sit cleanly in the finished work.
What does the 3-year guarantee cover?
The jointing material and levelling on every paver project. If the joint sand fails or your pavers settle or shift out of level within three years, we come back and make it right.
